Digital art: Bottlebrush Kaleidoscope

bottlebrush kaleidoscope 2© Diane Beaty

Here’s a kaleidoscope piece I made using a photo I took of a bit

of bottlebrush tree. The kaleidoscope filter I used is free and can be

downloaded at the following site:

I did add a touch of sandstone texturizer to my finished piece.

The following link will take you to the larger size:

Below is the original pic before applying the kaleidoscope filter.

For the first film of the Kaleidista movement,
in other words a Kaleidoscopic film:

Check out the cult film of the modern era.
“The Myth of Time” is a 2012 prophesy straight from
the source. Filmed over 5 years in Guatemala, it is the
unwritten chapter of the Popol Vuh. Compared to
great cult classics El Topo, Aguirre, and Kurosawa’s Dreams.

Thanks for stopping by dig-n-dash. I think I will attempt some more
kaleidoscope pieces, but I can’t say when exactly they might be ready
as I tend to work on these digital art pieces in bits and spurts.

    Very pretty.
Very much a toy I’ll have to investigate.

    *laughing*
Yeah, yeah……just what Mel needs, another toy! 😉

It looks much more amazing in a larger size. [I just added a Flickr link
to the original post.] And do try this on your own; I’m sure you won’t
      be disappointed with the results.

    That is absolutely amazing.
